 • What program do you use to make edits? And where can I find it?

I use Adobe Photoshop CS4. And you can find it on Adobe.com, I presume. I don’t have a link to where you can download one, nor do I have a key gen. Sorry.

What are textures?

Texture mapping is a method for adding detail, surface texture (a bitmap or raster image), or color to a graphic. Example: Without texture | With texture

What is a PSD?

PSD files are generally a layered file that is proprietary to PS. It allows the person who downloads them the flexibility of seeing how the graphic maker composed layers, colorings etc. PSDs are useful in that they are like templates in which they enable the designer to change colors to an image, add image layers, or remove image layers. They allow you to see all the settings and work the graphic maker put into the finished product. They’re most commonly used for coloring creations.

How do you make textures?

I find my inspiration to make textures in different places. I scan majority of them from materials I find at my house such as my dad’s old paintings/sketches, textbooks, magazines, book covers, fabric etc. Other times, when I’m feeling lazy I search through engine sites like google and distort and manipulate images in PS to get a desired outcome/effect. And at times I even make them from scratch in PS by messing around with different tools and applying gazillion + 1 effects on them.

• Do you have tutorials on how to use textures?

Tutorials can be found here. I’m not too fond on making tutorials because they take me a while to compose, so I don’t know when or if I’ll be making more.

Do I need to credit you for your textures?

No, you don’t need to credit me - I’m not too fussy when it comes to my textures. I’d just appreciate it if anyone asks where you got them that you refer them here so they may use them as well. And please do not claim them as your own.

How do you make gifs?

I quit gif making a while ago, but I’m sure you can find tutorials here.

Do you take requests?

No, I don’t.

When will you post more textures? When will you post another PSD coloring?

It takes me a while to post textures because a lot of time goes into preparing them and compiling them together (I usually post them monthly). As for PSDs colorings those I tend not to post as often because usually my colorings don’t work with everything and take me a long time to make until I am fully satisfied. So, I don’t know when or if I’ll be making any more PSDs.

Where can I find your tumblr theme?

My theme was specifically coded for me by Haylie. You can refer all questions to her.

I wrote you a message a week month ago and you still haven’t answered me, are you ignoring me?

No, I am not ignoring you. I am a huge procrastinator, so messages do take me a while to answer. Please be patient, I do try to answer them all unless the questions can already be found in this FAQ and/or TIPS/PS QUESTIONS section. Check these first to see if your questions have already been asked. I’m sure neither I nor my followers want to hear me sound like a repetitive parrot.

I followed you, why haven’t you followed me back?

I’m sorry I don’t do follow backs. I don’t have time to check every blog that follows me anymore.

What language are you speaking in that gibberish I can’t understand?

That would be Serbo-Croatian/Bosnian.

What’s with all this ads business? How does it work?

Basically, you sign up with Google Adsense for free, wait for approval and once approved you get paid for people clicking your ads. The amount you get is determined by the traffic your site generates, type of ads that are displaying and number of clicks. At the end of the month the funds are either transferred to your bank account or sent via check to your home address. Decent pocket change.
